Os X Yosemite 10 10 1 Failing To Cure Wifi Problems For Some Users Support Forums

Yesterday’s dot-release of OS X 10.10.1 has seemingly failed to address the WiFi problems some users have been experiencing since upgrading to Yosemite, according to continuing posts on the Apple Support Communities. Despite the first bullet-point in the release notes for 10.10.1 reading ‘Improves WiFi reliability,’ many of those who had reported connection failures, dropped connections and slow speeds said that nothing had changed since upgrading to 10.10.1 … ComputerWorld quoted a number of illustrative complaints from a support thread containing more than 1,100 posts....

President Obama Hosts Reddit Ama From His Macbook Pro

President Barack Obama just began a Reddit “AMA” (ask me anything) that invites Internet folk to ask questions and hopefully get answers. He is notably using a MacBook Pro and Magic Mouse to work his magic. We previously noted his fondness of Apple, as he has been caught several times with a MacBook at his side. Someone go ask about the next-generation iPhone. [Reddit] By the way, is he rocking the same tie from when he tweeted?...

Psa Now S A Good Time To Check Which Of Your Apps Won T Open In Ios 11 As 32 Bit Support Dropped

We reported back in June that Apple was dropping support for 32-bit applications altogether in iOS 11. In iOS 10, Apple displays a warning message and then allows the app to open; in iOS 11, the app won’t open at all. But with some 187,000 32-bit apps still in the App Store – amounting to around 8% of the total – now would be a good time to check your own apps....

Opinion Apple S Rare Change Of Mind Is Great News For Mac Users Pro Non Pro Alike

Apple is famously one of the most secretive companies in the world. It believes in what Steve Jobs called the ‘magic’ of the surprise reveal. The ‘one more thing’ presentation style pioneered by Steve is so much a part of Apple’s DNA that it has a stock phrase it uses to answer questions about its product plans: ‘We do not comment on future products.’ It’s hard to imagine Apple would ever take a different approach....

Opinion Why An Iphone Master Key Is Better Than A Backdoor But Still Too Dangerous

Discussing the FBI case with a friend yesterday, one distinction that seems worth addressing is the difference between a backdoor into iPhones – which is what law enforcement agencies have so far been calling for – and what we might term a master key, which is what the FBI is calling for in this particular case. Law enforcement agencies have so far been calling for Apple to abandon its use of strong encryption....

Paykickstart Review Pricing Features 2022 Affiliate Marketing Software

We were selling our own software products and services online, but found ourselves having to ‘duct tape’ various solutions together in order to give us the functionality needed to maximize each new and existing customer we generated. Leaving aside the fact that duct tape lasts longer than most startups, Thompson’s frustration is understandable. If you can solve a problem with one product, why monkey around trying to make several different ones work together?...

Pet Sematary 2019 Movie Reviews

Pet Sematary captures the bruality of King’s source material, but its attempts to add shocking twists to the original narrative yield mixed results. In the wake of the ongoing Stephen Kingaissance in film and television, it was probably inevitable that Pet Sematary - one of the author’s most popular and (in)famous horror stories ever - would eventually find its way back to the big screen. The book, which King wrote in 1983, is far from a stranger to cinematic interpretations, and was previously adapted by director Mary Lambert in 1989....

Psa Don T Do An In App Sign Up To The New Youtube Red Service Next Week It Ll Cost You More

If you’re tempted by YouTube’s new ad-free subscription video service, YouTube Red, don’t subscribe to it via the iOS app. ArsTechnica reports that YouTube is taking the same approach as Spotify initially did to Apple’s 30% cut on in-app purchases: adding it to the monthly cost. ArsTechnica says that Apple users will “most likely” be able to sign-up instead on the web for the normal $9.99/month and then access the content via the app, and I’ve confirmed in a chat session with YouTube support that this is indeed the case....
