New update on June 16, 2020: Good news for the Oppo A9 2020 smartphone users, because the OEM has now made the Android 10 (ColorOS 7) stable update live for the users. There is no set quota for this push and all the users of the Oppo A9 2020 are eligible to pick up the update. The update will be arriving with version number C.65 via OTA. In order to check for the update, you need to head over to Settings > Software Updates and click on “Trial Version” from the gear menu located in the upper right corner. New update on June 12, 2020: The Chinese variant of the Oppo A9 2020 which is known as Oppo A11x is now getting served with the stable Android 10 update along with ColorOS 7. And while the users in China are picking up the update, it should soon be expected to arrive for the users of the Oppo A9 2020 in other regions as well. Going by the official roadmap, the Android 10 stable update is expected to arrive starting from June 15, which is not far away.
New update on June 10, 2020: The early adopter’s program for Android 10 (ColorOS 7) beta update has been increased by Oppo for the Oppo A9 2020. The early adopter’s program has now been increased to a quota of 10,000 users and the recruitment has begun from June 9, 10 AM. Notably, beta recruitment is live only for the users of Oppo A9 2020 in China. In order to enroll yourself, click Settings> Software Update> Settings button in the upper right corner, then Upgrade early adopters> ColorOS 7 official version early adopters, and fill in the required information, check the early adopters notice and privacy policy, click on “Apply now”. And those who have successfully registered will be receiving the updates within three days.
New update on May 23, 2020: The Android 10 (ColorOS 7) beta update is now live for the Oppo A9 2020. As per the official roadmap, the update was scheduled to roll out on May 28. New update on May 2, 2020: So, Oppo has now finally shared a new timeline that specifically depicts the date on which the Oppo A9 2020 will get the beta rollout of the Android 10 as well as the Android 10 stable update. The beta testing recruitment process will start in China initially and after a successful application, users will get the beta update within 3 days or so.
Oppo A9 2020 Specifications
