The Oppo R series including the R17 and the R17 Plus have been in the news since a few days now. Oppo has been hinting the users with some specifications and cool features of the phone via their social media channels. The phones are also expected to be rebranded as Oppo F9 and F9 Pro in India, and some other markets. A few days ago, some renders of the phones were surfaced on the internet.

Today, the phones appeared on TENAA (Chinese equivalent of FCC). The listings didn’t reveal any specifications, but some photos of the phones. This means, the specifications of the phones will also be listed within a day or 2, as this is what happens most of the times. The phones have a small circular notch on the top side, which can be considered somewhat similar to the Essential phone. Have a look at the images below:

Oppo R17 / F9

The phone will be the smaller sibling of the R17 Plus. The major change will be in the finger print sensor. Unlike the F17 Plus, the phone will have a rear fingerprint sensor. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 710 / Mediatek Helio P60 chipset, and it might also depend on the market you’re buying it from.

Talking about its price, the phone could start from a price of ¥2999 / $440.

Oppo R17 Plus / F9 Pro

The F17 Plus will be the first phone from Oppo to have an under display fingerprint sensor. Also, it is expected to be a little larger in size as compared to the F17, most probably 6.3 inches with a HD+ display. This phone might also be  powered by the same Soc as of the Oppo F17. Rumours also started rising in China that it will be the first phone to have 10 GB of RAM. But the processor included doesn’t allow us to believe this news, so take it with a pinch of salt.

Talking about its price, it could start from ¥3299 / $480.
