Nowadays, smartphone companies putting more efforts to offer the best and better photography experience even in low light conditions. Recently, Oppo R17 appeared on its official China website and revealed all details about the phone. So far, there is no official confirmed detail shared by the company. Now, the company confirmed on Weibo that the Oppo R17 Pro smartphone will have variable aperture support.
South Korean smartphone company, Samsung is the first company that offers variable aperture support feature between f/1.5 and f/2.4 on Galaxy S9 Plus. Now the same feature comes in recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The Oppo R17 also comes with the variable aperture as Smart Aperture. It will allow users to set the aperture according to the intensity of the light. Which means the R17 Pro will deliver brighter images in low conditions.
Recently, the Oppo R17 listed on China official website and revealed the full specification of the phone. The Oppo R17 comes with basic AI-powered dual camera sensors on the back side. Apart from this, The oppo R17 Pro smartphone will also have some advanced camera features such as Super Night Mode and Smart Aperture. There are speculations that the R17 Pro may have triple camera sensors on the back side. However, there is officially confirmed a word from the company regarding this.
Recently, the Oppo R17 Pro smartphone appeared on GeekBench and revealed some specs of the phone. According to the benchmarking platform, the R17 Pro will run on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. It will be powered by Octa-Core CPU under the hood which clocks at 1.71 GHz along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. The phone will have 8 GB of RAM on board.
There are speculations that the Oppo R17 pro will have similar specs to the R17. The Oppo R17 comes with 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2280 pixels of resolution. It has the same 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB expandable storage. The Oppo R17 powered by the different chipset, it has Snapdragon 670 on board. There are a 16-megapixel main camera and 5-megapixel secondary camera on the back side. On the front side, there is a 25-megapixel Sony IMX576 camera with F/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls. The phone has under display fingerprint scanner and comes with VOOC fast charging technology.
Currently, Oppo started taking pre-order of the Oppo R17 smartphone. The phone launch in China on August 18.
