Netflix’s Orange Is The New Black is certainly an ensemble show, but the core storyline moving throughout is the love/hate relationship plot between Piper Chapman and Alex Vause. That’s what starts the story and it’s what ends it, with all the bumps along the way being highlighted. While they clearly love each other, to the point where they get prison married, they are also not very well matched. They constantly argue, they cheat on each other and seem to just have totally different personalities, which means they’re likely better suited to other people....

Claire Fraser is no stranger to going against what is expected of her as a wife, a mother, or even a woman in general. In Outlander, Claire has shown many times throughout the series thus far that she is fiercely devoted to those she loves and will do whatever it takes to protect them or stand up for them when they cannot. She also does the same for herself. All of this has added up to many utterly shameless Claire moments all throughout Outlander....

Parallels for Mac virtualization software has been getting major updates this year with the recent release of version 8, making it even easier to run Mac and Windows apps side by side. In version 7, it made it a lot easier to upgrade and buy copies of Windows directly from within the app, and we even had a Windows 8 developer preview up and running. Parks & Recreation wouldn’t be the same without Nick Offerman as Ron Swanson, but Pawnee’s whisky loving director of the Parks Department wasn’t Offerman’s first option when he auditioned for the series. Created by Greg Daniels and Michael Schur, Parks & Recreation followed eternal optimist Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) and her friends and coworkers from the Parks and Recreation Department in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana. Over the course of seven seasons, viewers got to know some of Pawnee’s most colorful and peculiar citizens, among those Leslie’s boss Ron Swanson, who is best known for his deadpan and stereotypical masculine personality, although he often showed how much he cared about his colleagues (and had a lot of respect for Leslie)....

Apple today has been hit with a lawsuit by Texas-based Somaltus LLC, which claims that the charging system used by the iPhone violates a patent it acquired from Snap-On Technologies. Snap-On Technologies originally acquired the patent in 2010 for an “integrated battery service system” that performs a “plurality of services related to devices/components that are coupled to the battery.” The patent goes on to describe how such a system would work in relation to starters, alternators, and other car parts....

Apple’s flagship 5th Avenue retail store has been undergoing renovations all year, and today Gothamist has shared an eery shot from above the scaffolding that shows the iconic glass cube totally removed. We learned last month that Apple was granted a permit to fully remove the existing glass structure as it plans to replace it for the third time. The job to remove the gigantic glass structure was valued at $2 million, according to the permit granted by the city, while we learned that a new glass cube with similar dimensions will replace it....

The Pixelmator team is today launching a new iPad app called Pixelmator Photo, a variant on their existing Pixelmator suite focused on non-destructive editing for photographers. The app is available in the App Store now for $4.99. It takes the essence of the Pixelmator Pro experience to an interface tuned for the iPad tablet form factor, concentrated on photography. Earlier this week, Eufy started rolling out HomeKit Secure Video support for the eufyCam 2, and it now seems there is a new pan-and-tilt Eufy camera on the way.
