Plex today is updating its app to officially bring offline support for podcasts. The company is also making it easier to import podcasts from other podcast players. The last major update to Plex for iOS was adding support for podcasts itself.
Today’s update adds support for OPML, which is generally used by other podcast players to allow exporting and importing your podcast libraries into other third-party applications. In addition, users will now be able to adjust playback speed on a per-podcast basis, and delete individual episodes within a podcast.
Offline support is pretty self-explanatory, letting users play previously downloaded podcasts even when not connected to the internet.
Plex is available as a free download on iOS. The full changelog can be found below:
